The Great Globetrotter
Problem - A travel expo in Chicago needed an identity for their event. It had to appeal to people with varying budgets, ages and professions. Solution - Create an identity that represents our ingrained curiosity to travel. String and thread were used in many ancient navigational techniques. I used this medium to sew the focal points for this project. Its delicacy and texture entices you to look more closely and contrasts against the trustworthy blue typeface. Using urban maps of Chicago in the background adds familiarity and grounding to the audience.
